| Rapid Tooling |
REACT
gives you access to Rapid Tooling (RT) solutions. It's technology that
enables the production of tooling using Rapid Prototyping technology to
produce plastic injection mould tool inserts. REACT can help you dramatically
reduce costs and lead times for production. There are two distinctive
tooling methods, direct and indirect. Direct RT methods use an RP machine
to produce the inserts, examples of this method are Direct AIM using Stereolithography
from 3DSystems and Rapid Steel using Selective Laser Sintering from DTM.
Indirect Rapid Tooling examples are 3D Keltool and aluminium-filled epoxy
tooling. |
